Expectations

Most sites write the “About Us” section but at 2 Kilograms it’s not about us. It’s about what you can expect from this site. We hate misconceptions of what we do or write so here is a quick run down on what you can expect from 2 Kilograms:

Posts

• New Posts will be delivered as we have time to write. We can’t tell you there will be something new everyday if we don’t have time. That’s why there is a forum.
• Posts have a lot of bad words and terrible writing. You can expect spelling mistakes, bad grammar, and a few insults.
• No theme. We like to write whatever comes to mind. This is a general blog and we want to keep it that way.
• We are jerks, so we write things that jerks write. No, we are not sorry in the least.

Structure

• We love the structure of the site, don’t expect or ask for it to change.
• We built the site for ease of use, more for us than you. Sit back and learn the structure then enjoy, and eventually become a jerk like us.
• We have a main blog, and a forum. Use both.

Writers

• We have a few writers, just some are on vacation from writing at the moment.
• Adam writes a lot of stuff on the site because he has a lot of time to be a jerk.
• You can become a writer if you are funny, amusing, interesting and we have known you for a little bit.
• All writing is original and stealing content is a shitty way of being a writer.
• We may rip from the headlines when we have nothing else creative, but we put our spin on things.

Advertising

• Currently we don’t have any, but we do use our sponsorship from U.S. Challenge Coins to keep it all alive.
• In the future we will add some so we can actually pay funny jerks to write for us.

Theme

• We don’t have one except we want to be honest and entertaining.
• We write what we know or want to pretend to know.
• Most of our stuff is opinion, some is for spoof, and some is just fun stuff we want to write about.
• Mostly we are a funny blog, but completely awesome.

Those are basic expectations that we offer. We know our shortcomings and you can probably see them for yourself. If you want to make this an awesome site like we do then tell everyone you know. You can also help by joining the forum. The more activity we have the more people will come and join us. No this isn’t Facebook, this is way more awesome because we actually want you to speak your mind and help us get this out to the world. If we ever fail on our expectations then it is our right to do so. Being awesome isn’t about being on time, or holding our word…it’s about being 2 Kgs.
